This policy explains how Tagaste LLC (“we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the Rosary Together mobile app. Tagaste LLC is a California limited liability company and is the controller responsible for your information. Contact: [email protected].

This policy covers the Rosary Together app only. Our services for parishes and organizations are covered by the Tagaste Labs Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Device identifiers. The app generates a random identifier stored on your device, used to operate app features.

Information you provide. This includes any display name or other content you submit in features that permit it, and the contents of messages you send us, together with any contact details you include.

Use of interactive features. Where the app offers features involving other users, we process information necessary to operate, moderate, and secure those features. Content you provide in them may be visible to other participants.

Purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We receive transaction and entitlement information necessary to deliver and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details.

Technical and diagnostic information. Such as app version, device type, operating system version, and error and performance diagnostics.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the app; to deliver and restore purchases; to operate and moderate interactive features and enforce our terms; to respond to inquiries; and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Disclosure

We use service providers to operate the app, including for purchase management, hosting and content delivery, app update distribution, and email delivery. They receive only what is needed to perform those functions for us. We may add, change, or replace service providers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law. Information associated with moderation may be retained longer so those actions remain effective. Information stored on your device is removed when you delete the app. We take reasonable measures designed to protect information; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to appeal a decision on such a request. Email [email protected] to make a request. Because we generally identify devices by random identifiers rather than accounts, we may need additional information to locate relevant records and may be unable to fulfill a request we cannot reasonably verify. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

6. Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. International Users

We operate in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance.
